About Me
Fun Facts About Me
- I have been collecting Starbucks planners every Christmas since 2015. Some years I write in them daily, other years they just end up stacked in a drawer.
- Coffee and sarcasm are my daily fuel, along with that small hope that all three kids nap at the same time. They never really do.
- Being a Gemini means I can be moody one moment and laughing too hard the next.
- Red lipsticks are my weakness. I keep buying them even if the shades all look the same to everyone else.
- Soft neutrals like yellow and beige calm me down, even on days when life feels far from calm.
- Milk tea is my comfort drink. On rough days, McDo fries and a float are the only fix I need.
- My kids believe I work on a magic computer. I let them believe it because it makes me sound cooler than just “mom who types a lot.”

A Bit of Backstory
(because I’m more than someone’s mom)
I’m Frances Vinn Bautista, though most people online call me Mommy Ces. I’m a Filipino mom raising three kids who keep me on my toes every single day.
Most of what you’ll find here was written with coffee nearby, toys scattered on the floor, and at least one child asking for a snack. I believe motherhood looks different for every mom.
For me, it has been messy, unfiltered, and full of trial and error — and that’s the version I share here. This blog is not about picture-perfect routines or one-size-fits-all solutions. It is about real stories, the lessons I keep learning, and the small reminders that sometimes make the load a little lighter.
Who I Am Beyond the Blog
I became a mom at 23. I was still figuring out who I wanted to be. At the same time, I was the family breadwinner. That meant late nights working, early mornings with no sleep, and teaching myself how to function through exhaustion. Motherhood didn’t wait until I was ready. It showed up, and I had to grow into it while juggling everything else.
Before kids, I was the girl who said yes to random beach trips, joined groups of strangers without hesitation, and stayed up way too late to deep dive into whatever caught my attention. I collected Starbucks planners like trophies. I never thought one day they’d be filled with school reminders, deadlines, and endless lists.

My Work and Experience
Yes, I’m a mom. But I’m also a marketing graduate with more than 10 years of experience in both traditional and digital marketing, including 4 years focused on SEO. Marketing taught me to think strategically, and motherhood taught me to adapt quickly when life doesn’t go as planned. Together, they shaped how I create and share content in a way that’s both practical and relatable.
I’m a hands-on learner who loves turning ideas into something tangible. Over the years, I’ve built multiple websites, planning, designing, and refining them until they worked the way I envisioned. Every project pushed me to learn something new, whether it was fixing broken layouts, experimenting with design, or streamlining content so it was easier to use. What I tested on my own sites often became the templates, guides, or resources I shared with other moms who wanted to start a blog or side hustle.
This website is one of the projects I’m most proud of because I created it entirely myself, from the structure and design to the behind-the-scenes SEO setup. There were late nights, plenty of restarts, and those small but satisfying wins at 2 AM when something finally clicked. Those moments reminded me that meaningful work can grow even out of messy seasons.
I don’t claim to have everything figured out. I’m always learning, still hustling, and raising three kids on my own while trying to make it all work. And maybe that’s the point. It isn’t perfect, but it’s real—and it works.
